I didn’t always know that I’d be an entrepreneur, but I always knew that I would be working for myself and that I would be based out of Sudbury. I started my first company, Petryna Advertising, almost 40 years ago and now along with Sandra, my wife and business partner, we own a group of companies which includes Petryna Advertising, Sign City, Outdoor Exposure, Mac Media and At the Water. We are very proud to be a part of this community, and we have made it a mandate in all our companies to give back and do whatever we can to make Sudbury a great place to live, work and play.
We have instilled in all of our employees a client-focused business model. We have strong partnerships with our clients, some who have been with us since the very beginning. These partnerships are based on trust, and we treat each client’s business like our own. We do not recommend anything we wouldn’t do in our own companies. I really think the reason why we have been able to grow for so long is because of these strong client relationships. You will never hear us say we don’t do that, if our clients need something we just figure out how to get it done, which has also led to strong partnerships with other businesses in the community.
No business is successful because of one person, and I am lucky to work with individuals who are not only incredibly talented, but who share our vision and values.
